Sugar Plants

Sugar Plants

We specialize in the construction of cane sugar plants using EPC technology. The production process for cane sugar is akin to that of a beet sugar plant. The extraction operation involves the use of mill tandem or cane diffusion, with additional mills pressing the residual solid (bagasse) to enhance its fiber content. The pressed bagasse serves as fuel for combined heat and power generation, often exporting electricity to the public grid. The choice between mill tandem and diffuser is influenced by plant capacity, cane characteristics, expected extraction performances, and overall plant design.
